Difference between Robot and Machine



Do you know the difference between robot and machine? Do you think it’s the same thing right? But, I will give you the truth. Robot is the word from Czech which means workers or laborers that don’t know what tired is. The robot is a mechanical device that can perform physical tasks using the surveillance and control of man, or use a program that has been defined first (artificial intelligence). Nowadays hardly anyone who is not familiar with the robot, but the sense of the robot is not understood the same way by everyone. Most imagine a robot is a human clone machine (humanoid), however not the only humanoid robots.

Obtained from the Oxford dictionary definition of the robot are:
A machine capable of carrying out a complex series of actions automatically, especially one programmed by a computer.

The shape of the robot was first created around the 12th century, when it was first discovered robotics system named Ibnu Ismail Al Jazari, born in Al Jazira, exactly between the Tigris River and Efrat  Rivers. His full name Badi al-Zaman Abullezz Ibnu al-Jazari Alrazz. He lived in Diyar Bakir, Turkey. Here is the picture of first robot

Now, I will give you what is machine means. Machine is a mechanical or electrical appliance that send or change the energy to perform or assist in the implementation of human tasks. Typically requires an input as a trigger, sending the energy that has been converted into an output, which perform tasks that have been set.
Now, do you see the difference between Robot and Machine right? Still no? Ok, I will summarize it for you. So, Robot is machine that have artificial intelligence but the machine don’t have artificial intelligence. Do you need the example for see the difference right? Ok, I will say Watch is machine that will show us the time and i think all of you know Wall-E, Gundam, etc right?  Those are robot.
